How to Install Facebook Pixels on Your Wix Website
One of the best parts of installing Facebook Pixel is how simple and easy the process is. The process is very straightforward. Before you try and set up your Facebook Pixel, you need to make sure that you are running Facebook ads successfully. Once your Facebook Ads are up and running, follow the steps below:
- Sign in to the Facebook Ads Manager
- Select ‘Tools’ on the top bar menu
- Choose ‘Pixels’
- Select ‘Create Pixel’
- Choose a nice name for your Pixel
- Select ‘Create Pixel’
Seeing something else? If you are somehow on a page that does not have the top bar menu, then simply look for the hamburger menu at the top left corner. Look for the Measure and Report section and right under it you will find the option to choose ‘Pixels’. After that just follow from step 4-6 above.
Go to Events Manager
- To go to the Events Manager, go to the Business Manager option in the top right corner.
- Here you will see a dropdown menu. Select ‘All Tools’
- You will see an enlarged popup window, where you will find the Events Manager and from there you can select Pixel.
- Once you have chosen Pixel, a redirect will take you to a list of all the pages that you manage. Choose the business page you want to work on by using the dropdown menu.
Log Into Your Wix Account and Connect Facebook Pixel
The first thing you have to do is to connect your Wix account to the Facebook Pixel you just made.
- First go to the ‘Partner’s Integration’. You will find this on the Business Manager page.
- If you scroll down on this Tab, you will find the ‘Website Platforms’, which is a list of website platforms that can be integrated.
- Here select Wix and a popup with Wix settings will appear.
- Now, to add the Pixel you just created, navigate to the drop down menu and you will see it right away.

And now, it is time to log into your Wix account. Once you do so, follow these steps:
- Select ‘Manage Website’ from the menu on the left. The next steps can also be accessed by heading to the Wix Website Builder>Settings>Tracking & Analytics

Once this step is done, you will find Facebook Pixel in the Tracking & Analytics dashboard. It will be enabled by default, but you can turn it off if you want to.
Republish Your Page
Once all the steps are complete, go back to Facebook. There, Facebook will verify that your Pixel is working by sending active traffic that turns the status of your Facebook Pixel to ‘Active’
Once you see the ‘Active’ sign, the setup is finished ! After this, you will have to verify the events that took place in the Facebook Events Manager. You can take out a little tests by going to the ‘Test Event’ and see if the Pixel is working nicely.
